Visiting Naseby in Winter is a real treat; Naseby Lodge provides warm, comfortable, purpose built accommodation, making sure you are well rested after a day of winter fun.
The high altitude means reliably cold conditions and crisp snow, so grab that extra merino, pull on your warm boots and gloves and join us for some winter fun!
You can’t visit Naseby in winter without going for a skate on the outdoor Ice Rink – a favourite of locals and visitors, providing hours of skating fun during the winter months – on a ‘real’ ice rink.
Why not give curling a go…Naseby has not one, but TWO curling rinks; one indoor and one outdoor so you can try out this fun olympic sport in any kind of weather. Great fun for kids and adults alike.
Well if you’ve got this far, you may as well give the luge a go too! Adjacent to the outdoor ice rink, the one of a kind luge track gives you the chance to slip and slide your way down a 360 metre track. You can take it at your own pace, start off slow and before you know it you’ll be joining the Jamaican bobsleigh team.
And if that wasn’t enough, there’s also the slightly less serious Snow Park for some good old messing around in the snow.
After a day of winter fun, return to the Naseby Lodge to relax in front of the fire in our Rose & Tussock Restaurant, while our on site chef prepares a delicious dinner. Or cook up a storm in the privacy of your self contained kitchen – the choice is yours.
